Joined the St. Francis High School Baseball Program in 2004. Work with coaches Carey Lankford, Terry Hardkye, Chris Volta and Neal Swank. I was the assistant coach for the Junior Varsity program. As hitting coach we work on the core mechanics of the swing. Identifying strength and weaknesses and how to make adjustments. We emphasized hitting strategies and review preparation cycles. We taught the importance of building routines, setting and achieving goals and working on team chemistry. The first year at St. Francis we went 19 - 6 to win the WCAL Division
In my second year at St. Francis I moved to the Varsity Level where I work with the team in the off season to do conditioning and arm strengthening. We use a SPARQ program to perform the ply metrics portion of our work outs. This included everything form medicine ball work to ladders, hurdles, rings, cones and jump ropes. When the season rolled around I worked with the hitters and infielders as well as the outfielders.
The academy brought me back to in November of 2007 to plan and host a baseball symposium for all their high school athletes. "Breaking into College baseball" was a huge success and will be held on an annual basis. My responsibilities included planning and negociating space for 350 attendees. Scheduling and selecting the speakers. Coordinating all activities relative to the event. Planning and space design. Stage set up, Seating layout as well as introducing the speakers.
Since the symposium the academy has assigned me to their ACE's Program which is Athlete's committed to Excellence. This is a conditioning and power hitting program that develops athlete to become bigger faster and stronger in all areas of baseball.
I started with the All-Star Academy of Baseball when they opened in 2003. I am involved with all coaches and player clinics. developing station layouts and rotations. Also did demonstrations on hitting and fielding techniques. Held chalk talks on practice plans and reviewed game situations. I am a big believer in mental strategies proper breathing techniques and how to handle diversity. My expertise is in hitting and the break down of Bio mechanics as well as mental preparation. I am also very involved with their tournament teams in the summer.
Work for NorCal baseball under Rob Bruno as assistant coach for the Cardinal team (15U/16U). This organization is known for its elite group of players. They recruit from all the west coast and are know for the tradition of excellence. We focus on building arm strength and conditioning, using the right hitting and throwing mechanics as well as how to stay healthy. NorCal specialize in getting high school players prepared for the next level. In 2004 they sent 13 players to D1 colleges to continue their career in baseball. I was asked to be the head coach of the 14U team in 2006. In 2007 I managed the 16U NorCal White sox.
Work under head coach Jake Schwartzberg as an assistant and hitting coach for the varsity team. In two seasons we went 41 – 13. Mountain View High School won the championship in the El Camino Division (SVCAL Title) last year (2004). The Spartans also earn 2 CCS berths in the last two seasons first time since 1990. Was the first time in school history to win over 20 games in a single season and did it two straight seasons.

Americas Game is an institution that educates coaches and players from all over the bay area on basic fundamentals and simple techniques of baseball. We also focus on helping people understand the game of baseball and how to work towards refining and improving their athletic ability. Past Coach’s clinics and player clinics include, Los Altos Pony, Los Altos Little League, Sunnyvale Southern Little League, Mt. View Little League, and Serra Little League.
Work for head coach Dean Stotz Stanford Baseball. I've been involved with the baseball camps at Stanford for the past 7 years. They run for week increments and they focus on basic fundamentals in hitting and fielding techniques. I supervise the outfield and infield drills in the morning which emphasis on basic throwing and fielding techniques. The second segment is spent on hitting mechanics with tee work and time in the batting cage. Also teach proper batting stance and breaking down the baseball swing. The last segment is organized games in the afternoon.
I worked as an instructor for the fall ball program at Los Altos high school. This is a fall ball league sponsored through Hardkye World of Baseball played in the off-season to help condition high school players as well as to prepare them for the upcoming baseball season. Help developed a work out program for players to use during the off season. Organizes and conduct practices during the week and played games on the weekends. Kept running statistics on players, batting averages, era’s, pitch counts etc.

This is a fall ball league sponsored through Hardkye World of Baseball played in the off-season to help condition high school players as well as to prepare them for the upcoming baseball season. This is an off-season program to help develop high school players through drills, conditioning and organized games. Worked with DeAnza coaching staff and supervises players during the drills and conditioning process.
